This year the NMA Awards were as competitive as ever with over 680 entries amongst the 29 categories on offer.
Victorious within the ‘Best use of Affiliate Marketing’ category this year were Debenhams who impressed with their voucher trial.
The overall objective to determine how costly traditional methods of voucher promotion could be subsidised or replaced by new media and specifically CPA based activity.
Shoppers were offered a discount in-store and vouchers were distributed through a number of channels including printed and online press. Ten affiliates were also chosen based on their ability to distribute to consumers. These included loyalty, voucher and money-saving sites. The voucher trial reached an impressive 10million consumers via affiliate emails. Debenhams also worked with Vouchercloud on a CPA basis. The first time a UK retailer had delivered mobile vouchers via an application extending to the publishers 1.5 million users. The solution allowed for store staff to log a redemption code at the EPOS terminal allowing customers to claim 10% off.
Through close collaboration with the network Affilinet and Debenhams, the app was fully integrated with vouchercloud’s technology for seamless and accurate CPA calculation.
Mythings individually optimised banners featuring similar and complementary products purchased by users who had browsed similar items and top sellers.
