Retargeting? Markco Media Launches Remarketing Tool

After recent talk regarding Behavioural Retargeting, we have today seen the launch of MarkCo Media's latest technology product, 'Capture'. According to Markco Media, over 60% of people abandon transactions online. Acting on their new product 'Capture' is said to potentially increase sales by 24-40% of abandoned transactions.

'Capture' behaves like a black box, which when installed on online forms and shopping carts, retains all information as it is entered by your customers and creates re-marketable records in the event of abandonment.

Mark Pearson also announced that 'Capture' has already run sucecssful campaigns with merchants including Kiddiecare, WHSmiths, M & Co, One Financial and Karen Millen.

Implementation is simple, via a small snippet of JavaScript.

Why remarketing?

According to Forrester Research, 46% of abandonees convert when re-marketed.

-Following up abandoned leads with sensitive remarketing techniques improves conversion rates, especially with an incentive to complete is included in communication.

-Remarketing to abandoned leads is said to offer the opportunity to personalise a customer's experience and generate positive awareness of the company brand.
