a4uexpo London 2010 Agenda Released

a4uexpo London 2010 Agenda Released

a4uexpo London is taking place at the new ICC @ ExCeL Center on the 12-13th October 2010. In its fourth year as Europe's largest Affiliate & Performance Marketing Conference to complement a new venue today sees the launch of the new website and, of course, the 2010 Agenda.

Agenda Day 1

New to the a4uexpo agenda this year sees an expo theatre playing an active part in the conference programme, supplying workshop style insights and practical advice on main areas of online marketing.

  • Launching a Brand into a Fiercely Competitive Vertical
  • Affiliate Marketing Insights : Retail
  • The Truth About Cookie Overwriting
  • The Implications of Universal Tagging and De-Duplication for the Affiliate Industry
  • Mobile SEO & App Strategy
  • Re-targeting for Branding and Affiliate Sales in Adwords

The main session rooms on day 1 play host to SEO, Deeplinking Strategies, Advertiser Guides to the Complexity of the Channel, Analytics, Open Source & Affiliates, Affiliate Managment, The Value of Affiliate Marketing, Successful Information Architecture, Industry Bodies, Link Building, PPC, Behavioural Retargeting and Performance Marketing, Adwords and Black Hat Protection (to name a few!).

I'm personally looking forward to 'a4uexpo - The Grill!' - A Q&A; Session with the Publishing Directors of major UK networks in a 'spin-free' environment, get the answers you want from those who can give them.

Agenda Day 2

Datafeed's, Conversion Killing Mistakes and Performance Marketing - Traditional & Mobile kick start Day 2 of a4uexpo. The expo theatre once again includes practical advice on Social Marketing, Social Media Tools & Wordpress Plugins, an Advertiser & Publisher Conversion Clinic and Email Marketing Tips.

In the hightened debate of recent months, Day 2 sees a dedicated session entitled 'Value & Multi-Attribution vs the Last Cookie' - Should we encourage early journey attribution? Attributions based on a specific activity, or continue to reward and potentially block innovation by encouraging publishers to fight for the last cookie and keep our established model in place. What’s ultimately best for our Industry?

Throughout the day there are sessions for all demographics, including 'The Affiliate Virgin - From Hobby to Start-up' - a session by former Apprentice winner Michelle Dewberry.

Not forgetting the other aspects of a4uexpo London - the Expo Hall, Parties and Training (which i'm sure we'll be touching on soone enough!) the full 2010 London Agenda is definitely worth digesting over at the new look a4uexpo site.
