Four Awards: What It Means To eConversions

Duncan, Congratulations on picking up a record four awards at last weeks a4uAwards. How does it feel to be recognised as the best in four different categories?

Duncan

Absolutely amazing! I'm incredibly proud of our team and what we've achieved in the last 12 months. The a4uAwards sets a high benchmark for us to work towards every year and it was totally unexpected to win every category we went in for. We also had a lot of help from merchants who provided us with excellent support and case studies.

What changes / adaptations have you had to make over the past year to ensure you keep your level as one of the UK's leading Publishers?

Duncan

Focus, in affiliate marketing there are so many distractions because exciting opportunities are always cropping up. We've had to get a lot better at picking our battles. Building a great team has also been fundamental and allowed the founders to focus on our core strengths. Reducing the number of annual Vegas trips has also had a very positive impact on productivity although we do miss them!

The judges admired your planning and intelligent execution of campaigns, alongside a 'friendly, dynamic and ethical approach to Performance Marketing' which were key reasons for your success at the a4uAwards this year. Which of the four awards you picked up is your favourite and why?

Duncan

It would have to be the Community Choice Award. To be voted the leading Publisher by your peers, merchants, networks and agencies is an honor and not one we take lightly so thanks to everyone who voted for us. With a 4 month old baby I don't get out to so many events these days so a huge amount of credit for this goes to our wonderful Partnerships Team who are main touch point for most people.

Finally, what have eConversions got in store for the Performance Marketing industry over the next year?

Duncan

It's fair to say our competitors are quick off the mark so I'm afraid you'll have to wait until next years awards to find out!
