A growing Online Publisher and Events organiser for the Digital Marketing sector, based in Bristol, are seeking an ambitious Media Sales Manager to join their expanding team. The role will be primarily focussed on b2b media sales across the online publication.
Working alongside the existing sales division, the role will be expanding the media opportunities across the publication to an existing client base as well as developing a new customer bases. The role is a new opportunity within this dynamic online and event publication and in-conjunction with being responsible for generating media sales, will be targeted with identifying new opportunities.
This is an exciting challenge for an experienced media sales manager wishing to broaden their skills set.
- As part of the sales division you will be responsible for developing global relationships with existing clients to promote and sell current and new media packages
- Build and develop a global pipeline across all media products
- Confident on both telephone sales and account management
- Meet and exceed individual and departmental targets on a quarterly and annual basis
- Minimum of 2 years sales / account management experience
- Experience of online/digital marketing and social media preferred but not essential
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and positive team player
- Ambitious and driven
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Used to working under own initiative with a proactive attitude.
- Experience of hitting and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets
- Confident phone manner
- Strong attention to detail and including the creation of sales pipeline and weekly reporting
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy and IT skills
