Have you tried metcheck.com ?
I've looked and can't find one but does anyone know of any site offering a UK weather feed via RSS?
Have you tried metcheck.com ?
42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot.
That looks good but gets expensive when selecting multiple regions, i was hoping there may be a free one somewhere?
weather.com offer one
edit: read their T&C's, quite a few rules to obide by
always tends to show as raining though, even if theres just like 10% of precipitation. Seems to get it right for the day your on though.
More accurate one, metoffice but they cost, bout £600/year last time I looked
edit2: if you go for weather.com one and need a parser for it let me know

Morleymouse, do they do a uk feed, can't find it?
it might be this one http://registration.weather.com/registration/wxlogo/step1
(sorry all stuff from when I joined is at work)
while since I first regitstered but you sign up and they give you a license key.
then you can use this xml feed and parser to search for weather up to 10 day forecast for any city, all over the world!
the parser caches the xml feed in a database on your server and uses that for 12 hours, then it clears it our and updates. any more frequent than 12 hours and they get mardy. so you will need a mysql database, but its not complicated getting it set up to work.
obviously if you have a search box on your site, like "check weather in _____" then each search will pull a different city into your database and it could get quite big if your fetching for 10 days. I just limit it to one city as its a local community type site.

Brilliant, thats just what i'm after. If you don't mind i'll take you up on the offer of the parser.
hopefully it should be attached to this post... simple php file. but looking at it, it doesn't look like I wrote it (far too many comments in it) but theres nothing in there saying who wrtie it (I havn't taken anything out)
pretty easy to modify, put your own template around etc
when you sign up to the weather.com feed you get access to a few files, images etc for all the different conditions, you'll need them.
set up the databaese connections at top.
adn set up database table...
CREATE TABLE `weather_xml` (
`xml_url` varchar(150) NOT NULL default '',
`xml_data` text NOT NULL,
`last_updated` datetime NOT NULL default '0000-00-00 00:00:00',
KEY `xml_url` (`xml_url`)
) TYPE=MyISAM;
