WTF! I recognise two of the forms. Something similar on ian.com but the rest?
It's about time that US based companies did away with all this IRS stuff. We're overseas and outside the USA. A simple disclaimer from us should usually suffice. We only pay tax in the registered business national address.
Not every US based network does this. Simply proving your credentials on signup (ltd company registered number etc) is more than sufficient for some. This doesn't happen on ShareaSale does it? Surprised it does on Linkshare.

bailed out at this stage too. perhaps when there are exclusive merchants I'll revisit.

Hi Rich
We appreciate you may have had some problems in the past with registering.
However we have since made some changes that should make it easier for non-US based affiliates to register an account with LinkShare.
If anyone has any problems registering please do not hesitate to contact me or PM me and I will help.
All the best

Hmmm. Just signed up now- doesn't seem much easier than before. Took a good 20 minutes to get it all sorted out. Why the sneck would you need so much from us UK based affiliates?
On the plus side, you'll definitely not get anyone signing up that's not 100% serious about promoting programmes on your network...![]()
Steve
I won't be signing up until they quit hiding behind "we take adware and spyware very seriously" types of comments and actually get a complete grip on the issue.
Nothing to see here...
they sort out a proper deep linking structure. Absolute sh**e right now compared to UK networks.I won't be signing up until

Thanks for the pm Mumtaz. It's good to see you guys are interested in listening to what we need for a UK network. In some ways the UK networks are ahead of American ones in terms of functionality and accessability so I think you'll need to pick up your socks a bit
As for deep linking, if you can sort that out with a dynamic variable like the other UK networks use then I would take a look. Otherwise it's an immediate no-go here.
I'll check this out![]()
Best of luck with your new network MumtazHope it does as well in the UK as it has in the States.

Hi,
seems to have been about a year since the last reported problem of joining Linkshare UK.
Well has anyone else experienced problems with the letter recognition box at the bottom of the sign up page?
I have tried all in all about 15 times and each time it has told me that the letters do not match.
I have therefore come to the conclusion that either, a) i need stronger glasses, b) i am dreaming all this, or c) it doesnt work.
Anyone else had a prob?
No reported problems!
If you wish - please send me your details and I will create an account on your behalf.
Please send this via e-mail to me - dnewmark@linkshare.com
Thanks
