ICodes, getting started and are there others

    Hi All,

Just getting started with ICodes. How well maintained is it? Does it have a list of ALL merchants, on ALL networks and carries EVERY SINGLE deal / voucher codes ever?

If so I guess Webmasters just scrape the XML and put it in their databases then use it as they see fit.

I hope it does do all the above? If so, it would be amazing? Are there any tips tools or wordpress plugins that anyone can recomend?

Also, is ICodes the defacto FEED agregator on the net or are their competitors / better options?

    Help much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    AllanS

    Hi Allan

Hopefully others will reply and give an honest opinion of iCodes, but I can assure you it is extremely well maintained and has 98% of the merchants from across 14 Network, and 98% of the voucher codes, and most of the worthwhile deals.

The reaons we don't have 100% of the merchants and 100% of the codes is because codes and merchants are added constantly and there maybe a delay to include a code, or a new merchant, the reason being each code details are manually checked / edited if required and categorised before going live.

If any code, offer or merchant missing the user can add them within seconds anyway, so natuarlly the more users we get then the more accurate, upto date and more policed the database becomes.

Our webservices is extremely powerful and can be used live or imported into your own database, we have sample coding examples and even a free fully working voucher site you can download, also their are other third party scripts available which import out feeds such as the iCodes WP Plugin, Denovo Voucher Script and CouponPress Wordpress Script..

Our services includes a lot more than the above but hopefully that covers your questions :-)

We are not the only feed agregator on the net, there is also Promotions.co.uk and Vouchers.im

    Thanks Lee,

Do any of these work wel "WP Plugin, Denovo Voucher Script and CouponPress Wordpress Script" or are they all a bit slow / come with problems? If you can't comment, don't worry.

Um. RE integration I'd be very interested in "we have sample coding examples and even a free fully working voucher site you can download". Where can I grab these.

I have 4 gambling websites and I want to push all the affiliate bonues.

    Cheers

    Al

    Hi Al

All those scripts cope well and do the job they are supposed to.

There are links to the free sites and coding examples on the right hand sidebar of our blog .. iCodes Blog UK's largest offer and voucher code feed suppliers

We now also offer javascript voucher code and offer units for non coders to get the vouchers and offers onto any website within seconds.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but how do you get the AffiliateFuture vouchers into your system Lee? Do you manually import from the voucher manager each day? Is there a way to automate this?

    Cheers

We did automate it until their feed system broke, so now the users are adding them manually, its not that bad though but adding manually opens it up for human error and missed codes, for some reason AF don't seem to think its urgent to get it fixed!.

They said that there will be a replacement feed shortly but not heard anything about it since.

I think they provide a csv download, so if they don't hurry up wwe will recode it to use that instead, but I think that requires a manual download and upload on a daily basis.
