Best way to feed an XML feed into a website?

    Hi everyone!

I was just after a bit of advice on the best way to feed an XML product feed into my website?

I have recently downloaded a feed from Affiliate Window and now wish to feed it into a part of my website. Is this possible?

If it is what is the best tool to use?

    Thanks,

You need to write a script that imports the feed into your database. If you're using PHP, a good starting point might be the simplexml function. Introducing SimpleXML in PHP 5

How easy you'll find it depends on your programming skills. If you're looking for an easier solution, you could set up a wordpress site and check out one of the many csv to post plugins that are around.

    Thanks for your reply,

That does sound like a good solution. I have a bit of PHP knowledge, so perhaps I'll give that a go.

I have also heard about feeding the XML as RSS. I can;t seem to find much information on how to convert the XML so it can be fed via RSS.

Has anyone managed to set up an AW feed for RSS?

    Thanks,

    Sounds interesting....

Forgive me for being lazy. Could you give me some cost details for the pro version?

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
Sure thing - It's 19.99+vat a month. There is a free version that works on an 80/20 revenue share, but that only includes javascript output - The RSS output is only for pro members.
