Are you in this full time?

    Hi

How many affiliates do this as a full time job? My website - www.driversdomainuk.com is err, well a driving website. I am currently training to get my instructor licence which will allow me to develop the driver training side of the business at both fleet and advanced level, as well as learner. Basically I will be developing the business more off line (via driver training) but still want to develop the website further as this attracts my target market...and I do lots of affiliate selling - mainly car data check, but also insurance etc...

I am at this stage where I dont really want to quit the day job just yet, as I am not fully qualified to legally instruct people (regardless of them being learner or advanced stage). However, soon there will be a time when I will want to quit and go for it full on...

Apart from the normal affiliate work, what other "supporting" jobs do people/could people do to supplement income in this type of industry...? Does anyone help manage other affiliate schmes on a part time basis maybe - or something similar..?

Sorry to be a bit vague but any experiences/views would be really appreciated.

    thanks
    Rob

    Hi

I come a slight different angle, as I work full time running an e-commerce business. What I would advise, is one of two things. Either develop your site to advertise more related products, I find it good to jot down on paper what you think would sell and then go find the merchant. Or look for popular products that have good comission and set up a site advertising that. I think this will home your skills and help you go part time in current profession or quit so you can conentrate on your training.

I wish you the best of luck.
