states we got hit but not seeing any change in our logs...almost same traffic as last week
Just tried about 20 or so high traffice code based searches and the results comprise all the usual suspects - I honestly cannot see much change. Sensationalism at play?
They do use tools to check.....but the logs are the real test
Lets see if Marks house goes up for sale?
twenga are on the hit-list, and they were my main competitor in a particular field, they've gone from page 1 across ALL the related searches I just checked.
edit: eBay & Gumtree seem to have taken their place.
And so it does deserve to....Dunc and vc.co.uk have built a great site, and that is a very honest view. It is the best, but I like to think we are slowly catching him. Lets see if the new release coming soon can catch him.
I aspire to be like Dunc....come on mate bite:):)
Compare to last month Johnny:)
so if VC.co.uk see a big move in traffic how will brands respond to vc.co.uk "stealing" the brand traffic as now it will be very obvious to see the movement of traffic from one affiliate to another and the reason why??
Okay, but comparing stuff from last month is going a bit off topic as anything outside of the last couple of days isn't UK panda related :)
It appears site speed has finally been folded into the algo. A lot of those sites are reporting as slow, very slow or average (there are exceptions). Adjusting this, along with the other factors (thin content, etc.) may bring those sites back.
